[BOOK GARDEN RESCUE]

Let’s Bring Your Garden Back to Life.

Gardening can be incredibly rewarding—but when things start going wrong, it can be frustrating.

You water.
You fertilize.
You move things around.
You search the internet.

And somehow, the garden still isn’t thriving.

Garden Rescue gives you a knowledgeable set of eyes on the problem.

We’ll walk your garden together, look for contributing factors, and help you distinguish between what needs attention now, what can wait, and what may be better replaced altogether.

The goal isn’t simply to treat a symptom.

It’s to understand the garden as a whole.

What Can Garden Rescue Help With?

Struggling Plants

We’ll look at visible symptoms and discuss possible contributing factors, including:

  • Yellowing or discolored leaves

  • Stunted growth

  • Wilting

  • Poor flowering

  • Poor fruit production

  • Plant decline

  • Transplant stress

  • General lack of vigor

Pest Problems

We’ll examine visible pest damage and discuss practical garden-management strategies.

Depending on what we observe, recommendations may include:

  • Cultural practices

  • Physical controls

  • Habitat adjustments

  • Sanitation

  • Plant removal or replacement

  • Integrated pest management strategies

When specialized pest identification or treatment is necessary, we’ll recommend the appropriate professional resource.

Overgrown or Neglected Gardens

Life happens.

If your garden has gotten away from you, Garden Rescue can help you determine where to start.

We’ll help prioritize:

What stays.
What goes.
What gets cut back.
What gets replanted.
What can wait.

Soil & Growing Conditions

We’ll discuss visible or reported conditions that may be affecting plant performance, such as:

  • Drainage

  • Compaction

  • Watering

  • Sun exposure

  • Soil structure

  • General fertility considerations

  • Plant placement

  • Crowding

If soil testing is appropriate, we’ll recommend it rather than guessing.

Disappointing Harvests

Not getting the vegetables, herbs, or fruit you expected?

We’ll look at possible contributing factors such as:

  • Plant selection

  • Planting timing

  • Sunlight

  • Spacing

  • Watering

  • Pollination

  • Soil conditions

  • Pest pressure

  • Plant maturity

We’ll help you identify practical changes for your next growing cycle.

“Should I Save It or Start Over?”

Sometimes the hardest garden decision is knowing when to stop trying to save something.

We’ll help you assess whether an area or plant is worth rehabilitating—or whether replacing it makes more sense.

[BOOK RECOVERY PLAN]

How It Works

01 — Tell Us What Happened

When you book, you’ll complete a short intake form.

Tell us:

  • What’s happening?

  • When did you first notice it?

  • What have you already tried?

  • What plants are affected?

  • What does the garden normally look like?

Photos are welcome and can help us prepare for the visit.

02 — We Come to You

We’ll meet you at your garden and walk the space together.

We’ll look at the affected plants and the surrounding environment—not just the symptom you’re seeing.

Because sometimes the problem isn’t the plant.

It’s what’s happening around the plant.

03 — We Diagnose the Next Step

We’ll discuss what we observe and identify likely contributing factors.

We’ll distinguish between:

Immediate action → Short-term recovery → Long-term prevention

When we can’t confidently determine the cause from an on-site consultation alone, we’ll tell you rather than pretending we have an answer.

04 — You Get a Recovery Strategy

You’ll leave knowing what to prioritize.

For the Recovery Plan package, we’ll provide your recommendations in writing so you can work through them at your own pace.

05 — We Check In

Recovery Plan clients receive one follow-up email within 14 days for clarification on the recommendations provided.

If your garden needs continued support, additional Garden Rescue, Garden Guidance, or seasonal services can be booked separately.

Garden Rescue FAQ

Can you guarantee that you’ll save my plants?

No.

We can provide informed horticultural recommendations, but we cannot guarantee that a plant will recover.

Some plants are too severely damaged, diseased, stressed, or poorly suited to their environment to be successfully rehabilitated.

Our goal is to help you make the best-informed decision about what happens next.

Do you treat plant diseases?

We can observe symptoms and discuss likely possibilities and general management strategies.

However, Garden Rescue does not include laboratory plant-disease diagnosis.

If a definitive diagnosis is necessary, we may recommend submitting a sample to an appropriate diagnostic laboratory or consulting a qualified specialist.

Do you identify insects?

We can identify common, readily recognizable garden pests when possible.

For difficult or uncertain pest identification, specialized identification may be recommended.

We don’t guarantee identification of every insect or pest from a visual inspection.

Do you spray pesticides?

No.

Garden Rescue is primarily a consultation and troubleshooting service.

If pest management is recommended, we’ll discuss appropriate strategies, which may include cultural, mechanical, biological, or chemical approaches depending on the situation.

Any pesticide application should follow applicable label requirements and regulations and may require a properly licensed professional.

Can you test my soil?

Garden Rescue does not include laboratory soil testing.

We can discuss visible soil conditions and recommend whether testing would be useful.

If testing is appropriate, we’ll help you understand what type of soil test may provide useful information.

Can you fix my garden during the appointment?

Garden Rescue is primarily an assessment and planning service, not a full installation or maintenance visit.

Minor hands-on demonstrations or adjustments may occur when appropriate, but extensive pruning, planting, weeding, soil work, bed construction, or garden cleanup are not included unless specifically agreed upon in advance.

What if my whole garden is a mess?

That’s okay.

In fact, that’s exactly when the Recovery Plan can be useful.

We’ll help you prioritize instead of trying to fix everything at once.

Can you rescue a vegetable garden?

Absolutely.

We can troubleshoot issues involving vegetables, herbs, fruits, and edible garden spaces.

We’ll consider growing conditions, seasonal timing, plant selection, spacing, watering, pests, soil, and other factors that may be affecting productivity.

What if I don’t know what’s wrong?

That’s completely fine.

You don’t need to diagnose your garden before contacting us.

Just tell us what you’re seeing.

“My tomatoes look terrible.” is enough to start the conversation.

Can you help me decide what to remove?

Yes.

Sometimes the best garden intervention is knowing what to let go.

We’ll help you evaluate whether plants or garden areas should be retained, relocated, pruned, replaced, or removed based on what we observe.

Is Garden Rescue the same as Garden Guidance?

Not quite.

Garden Guidance is for questions, ideas, planning, and general garden direction.

Garden Rescue is specifically for a garden that is struggling, declining, neglected, or experiencing a problem you want help solving.

If you’re wondering which one you need, choose Garden Rescue when your first thought is:

“Something is wrong with my garden.”

Should I book a Garden Blueprint instead?

If your garden needs a complete redesign, a Blueprint may be more appropriate.

Garden Rescue can help stabilize and understand an existing garden before you invest in a larger redesign.

Before Your Visit

Please make sure we can safely access the garden areas you’d like to discuss.

If possible, gather:

  • Photos of the problem as it developed

  • Plant tags or seed packets

  • Information about when the problem started

  • Notes about watering

  • Fertilizers or amendments you’ve used

  • Pest-control products you’ve applied

  • Relevant planting dates

You don’t need to clean up the garden before we arrive.

The garden as it is gives us the most useful information.

Important Details

No Guarantee of Recovery

Garden Rescue provides horticultural recommendations based on conditions observed during the consultation.

Crown & Cultivate does not guarantee that plants will recover, produce a particular yield, remain pest-free, or survive following implementation of recommendations.

Diagnostic Limitations

A visual garden consultation cannot identify every pest, disease, soil condition, environmental problem, or underlying cause.

When additional testing or specialized expertise is appropriate, we may recommend another professional or diagnostic service.

Soil & Environmental Conditions

Hidden or unknown conditions—including drainage issues, soil contamination, nutrient deficiencies, buried infrastructure, root damage, disease, construction activity, or other site conditions—may affect plant health and may not be identifiable during a standard consultation.

Client Implementation

The client is responsible for implementing recommendations unless separate installation or garden-care services have been contracted.

Results may vary depending on how recommendations are implemented and on environmental conditions beyond Crown & Cultivate’s control.

Pesticides & Treatments

Crown & Cultivate does not guarantee the effectiveness of any pesticide, organic treatment, fertilizer, amendment, or other product.

Clients are responsible for following all product labels and applicable laws. Where professional application is required, a properly licensed professional should be engaged.

Plant Replacement

If a plant is determined to be unsuitable for its location, recommendations may include replacement.

Plant recommendations do not guarantee availability, pricing, or future performance.

Scope of Service

Garden Rescue does not include:

  • Extensive garden cleanup

  • Routine maintenance

  • Large-scale pruning

  • Tree removal

  • Tree-risk assessment

  • Irrigation installation or repair

  • Structural construction

  • Soil excavation or remediation

  • Laboratory testing

  • Licensed pesticide application

  • Engineering or landscape architecture services

These services may require separate professionals or agreements.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

Appointments may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice.

Cancellations or missed appointments with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee or forfeiture of the consultation fee.

Weather-related cancellations initiated by Crown & Cultivate will be rescheduled at no additional charge.

Follow-Up

The Garden Rescue + Recovery Plan includes one follow-up email for clarification within 14 days.

Additional consultation, troubleshooting, or ongoing support must be booked separately.

By booking Garden Rescue, the client acknowledges and agrees to these terms.
