The Founder

Greetings and Welcome to Crown and Cultivate!

My name is Dr. Zinobia. I am the founder of Crown and Cultivate.

I was working as a college professor and health researcher long before I was a gardener. Studying illness and disease made me invest in health. I chose FOOD byway of the garden.

I set up 4 pots on my patio and started my first garden. 10 years and 14 garden beds later, I was growing 60-80% of my family’s food.

Soon, I was dropping off bags of extra produce to neighbors’ and teaching friends how to turn their backyards into a grocery store.

I bring my green thumb, passion for growing fresh food, and research mind to Clients’ backyards to make sure they can say, “I am growing way more food than my family can eat!”
